Frequently asked questions

How long does a typical residential site cut take?

Most single residential site cuts are completed in 1–3 days depending on the size of the block, soil conditions, and access. We'll give you a realistic timeframe when we quote.

What does a site cut cost?

Site cut pricing depends on the size of the block, depth of cut, soil conditions, and access. We provide detailed, itemised quotes so you know exactly what you're paying for. Contact us with your site details and we'll come back to you quickly.

Do you handle rock during excavation?

Yes. If rock is encountered we can break and remove it with hydraulic hammers or rippers. Rock excavation is quoted as a variation if not identified upfront.

Can you work on sloping blocks?

Absolutely. Sloping blocks are one of our specialities — we regularly handle benched cuts, split-level pads, and retaining wall preparation on steep sites.

Do you handle drainage as part of the site cut?

Yes. Drainage fall is incorporated into every site cut we do. Where stormwater pits and pipes are required, we can include this in the scope or coordinate with your hydraulic engineer.

What areas do you service for site cuts?

We service Brisbane and the broader South East Queensland region — including Bayside, Logan, Redlands, Ipswich, Moreton Bay, and surrounding areas within approximately 100km of Brisbane.
